Hello, I'm Christian Hendriksen

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Operations Management, Copenhagen Business School, where I bridge organizational theory, emerging technology, and management practice.

My research focuses on how organizations integrate generative AI into their operations, examining the decision structures, control mechanisms, and governance frameworks that shape responsible adoption. This work appears in peer-reviewed journals, practitioner handbooks like AI på arbejde, and presentations at venues such as the Academy of Management.

At CBS, I also contribute to institutional AI strategy and governance as a member of the CBS AI Advisory Board. I co-developed CBS's Introduction to Generative AI and language models e-course and regularly speak about AI adoption, governance, and organizational change for companies, public organizations, and industry events.

My broader scholarly background includes operations and global governance, with selected work on supply chains, sustainability transitions, and maritime regulation at the International Maritime Organization.
